Peter Calandra

Peter Calandra is a New York City based composer and pianist. He played piano and conducted the original Off Broadway version of Little Shop Of Horrors, played keyboards in the touring company of Les Misérables and was the Principal Keyboardist for the Broadway production of Miss Saigon. For 16 years was the pianist in artist Larry Rivers "Climax Band" where he performed with Allen Ginsberg, Don Cherry. As a composer he has written over 1700 compositions for television including theme songs for most shows on the Big Ten Network, Comcast Sports Net and many shows on the MSG Network. He has and scored 18 films including the award winning "Unknown Soldier and Jellysmoke", ESPN: Unmatched and 2011 release Rise . Played lead guitar in the 1980 punk rock band the BlanX. [1][2]

Calandra grew up in Northport, New York.
